AMRDF commitment to provide educational facility to IDPs
The team has developed Temporary Learning Centers (TLCs) at the camps in order to provide displaced students free and quality education. In addition, the team of AMRDF provided food to people who were staying in camps established by city administration.

Glimpse of AMRDF Initiatives
Flood Relief Items Distribution 2022
Al-Mehran Research & Development Foundation (AMRDF) distributed essential flood relief items to affected communities at village Ali Bux Shah, located in UC Dhoro Janib, Taluka & District Sanghar. This humanitarian effort was made possible through a collaborative partnership with the International Organization of Migration (IOM). The joint initiative aimed to provide vital support to those impacted by the devastating floods, delivering crucial supplies and assistance to those in need. AMRDF and IOM’s combined efforts demonstrated a strong commitment to alleviating the suffering of affected communities and promoting resilience in the face of adversity.
Non Formal Education Initiative
Al Mehran Research and Development Foundation (AMRDF) is thrilled to announce the establishment of an Adult and Adolescent Learning and Training Centre in district Sanghar, in collaboration with the Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh. This initiative targets out-of-school children and youth, comprising adolescents (9-17 years) and adults (18-36 years), aiming to equip them with essential skills for socio-economic development. The center will provide a supportive environment for students within this age range to acquire vital skills and knowledge in free of cost, enhancing their prospects for a brighter future.

Al Mehran Research and Development Foundation (AMRDF)
successfully hosted a youth convention and award ceremony in Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Youth Affairs Department of the Government of Sindh and the Sindh Green Foundation (SGF). This momentous event brought together young minds from across the region to celebrate their achievements and inspire them to become agents of positive change. The convention featured insightful discussions, workshops, and presentations focused on empowering youth to take an active role in sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, and environmental conservation. Renowned speakers and experts shared their experiences and
expertise, motivating the young participants to become future leaders and innovators.
Foundation Assisted Schools & Colleges & (FAS)
AMRDF is currently running 10 Foundation Assisted Schools in district Sanghar. The first school was established in 1998, and after that nine more schools were opened with the support of Sindh Education Foundation, Govt. of Sindh. The schools are providing free and quality education to the poor and needy. The aim of the establishment of school was to enroll more and more out of school children specially girls in order to provide them basic education.
